Job Overview
The Structural Engineer applies their conceptual knowledge of Structural (Eng) and with a moderate level of guidance and direction from colleagues and leadership, is responsible for solving a range of straightforward Structural (Eng) problems. They will be responsible for analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures, as well as building knowledge of the company, processes, and customers. The Structural Engineer understands key business drivers and applies this knowledge to solve problems in straightforward situations through analysis of possible solutions using technical experience, judgment, and precedents.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Studying preferred methods of erecting/assembling structures, establishing erection sequence
Performing structure analysis and details design erection aids, producing heavy lift and load out procedures for the project
Essential Qualifications and Education
Well Engineering education background
Undergraduate degree in Engineering (Civil Eng, Mechanical Eng, Marine or Naval Engineering)
Able to perform structure analysis, foundation design and analysis
Min 5 years' experience as structural engineer. Most preferable experience in oil & gas offshore and onshore facility structure
