Job Overview:
The Principal Planner oversees the planning team. Develop and Maintain project schedule. Advise Management on schedule impacts and recommended recovery plans.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Works with project team to properly update the schedule
Able to create and run prepared or ad-hoc reports
Able to evaluate validity of the critical path based on prior experience
Able to resource load the schedule and match to earned value system
Able to suggest recovery plans or areas of potential improvement
Have a strong understanding of typical project logic and flow
Able to run Accumen Fuse to analysis schedule quality
Able to run schedule risk analysis and facilitate risk review meeting
Able to develop typical project logic and duration based on experience for review by project team
Able to set-up overall schedule parameters (WBS / OBS/ Project/ Global Codes / Calendars…)
Essential Qualifications and Education:
- Basic knowledge of EPC Contract Types (LS, Cost Plus, Reimb, etc..)
