McDermott Technology Specialist in Shreveport, Louisiana

Title: Technology Specialist

Location: USA-Louisiana-Shreveport

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Set-up and deploy plant \ office \ computers, printers,copiers

  • Day to day computer and cell phone support in acorporate \ plant \ remote environment

  • Support wireless scanning and printing

  • Manage IT Assets, wipe and image PCs for deploymentusing company imaging system

  • Submit \ log user support tickets, outages, changes, incompany ticketing and change control system

  • Be on call for site outages

Qualifications:

  • Post-Secondary degree or associates degree in ComputerScience

  • Minimum of three to five years on Windows 7 \ Windows10 Operating systems

  • Basic knowledge of Active Directory and Computer

  • Basic knowledge of latest Windows Server \ Network

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills

  • IT Security aware

  • Good communication skills and customer oriented

  • Work independently with some direction

  • Work in an enterprise environment as part of a largeroverall team

  • Comply with corporate policies and procedures

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Willing to do some traveling.

Asset:

Current Cisco Networking knowledge \ experience
